Seal Beach, CA — Senterline Communications, a new full-service public relations consulting firm, has formed to provide social media strategy, online content and media relations services to small businesses, associations and nonprofits.

“Effective communication is based on trust,” said founder and principal Julie Senter. “Senterline offers associations and small businesses the opportunity to build trust with their customers through clear, consistent communications. It’s about cultivating relationships with customers – and prospective customers – and using their feedback to build a stronger business and a stronger brand.”

Senter is a communications veteran with nearly 20 years experience working in newsrooms, board rooms and legislative offices around the country. These diverse experiences give her a unique perspective, allowing Senter to provide high-level strategic counsel on a variety of communication issues, including corporate communication, branding and crisis management.

“Companies don't share the same business goals. They shouldn't share the same public relations plan, either," Senter said. “I’m thrilled to be able to offer our clients personalized service and thoughtful PR plans that align our efforts with their business goals."

Prior to founding Senterline, Senter worked as a reporter for newspapers in California, Alabama and Michigan, including the Pulitzer Prize-winning Detroit Free Press. She also led the communications department at one of Southern California's largest trade associations, earning numerous communications and public relations awards.

Based in California, Senterline services clients throughout the continental United States and Hawaii.
